Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce revealed that his girlfriend Taylor Swift's music has helped lift his mood following his team's blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.
Travis and his brother, retired former Eagles center Jason Kelce, discussed his post-Super Bowl depression, with the elder Kelce asking if he was listening to "sad music."
"Jason, the only way you can find yourself in the light is to find yourself in the dark first. Right. I listen to music that is very telling of my mood.
“I just listen to Taylor's music. She has something for everything," Travis responded when Jason said he would personally listen to "sad country songs."
“That's fair. That's a good point. No matter what mood, you can find some Taylor music," Jason responded.
“And how the Eagles broke my heart,” Travis added.
Travis famously revealed that he attempted to give Taylor a friendship bracelet with his phone number when he attended her concert at Arrowhead Stadium prior to their relationship in 2023. Swift later said that the three-time Super Bowl champion "very adorably put me on blast" when he acknowledged the situation on his podcast, which she said "was metal as hell" while being featured as Time Magazine's 'Person of the Year' in December 2023.
