Morgan Wallen flipped his piano over on stage after a technical issue during his performance.

Videos circulating on social media show the moment the I’m The Problem megastar pushed the piano over on stage on Friday (May 29) at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado. Wallen apparently ran into technical difficulties while performing “Sand in My Boots,” which appeared on Dangerous: The Double Album in 2021. Videos captured by concertgoers show Wallen finishing the song a cappella before he returns to the piano and flips it, breaking the instrument. The seemingly surprised crowd continued to applaud cheer for the Tennessee-born country artist.

Wallen reportedly couldn’t hear the piano during his “Sand in My Boots” performance, according to Rolling Stone, TMZ, PEOPLE and other outlets. Wallen has not publicly commented on the viral moment as of publication time on Monday (June 1). Wallen is in the midst of his 2026 “Still The Problem Tour” with Brooks & Dunn, HARDY, Ella Langley and Thomas Rhett as direct support, plus Gavin Adcock, Flatland Cavalry, Hudson Westbrook, Jason Scott & The High Heat, Zach John King, Vincent Mason and Blake Whiten.
