Megan Moroney launched her first-ever arena tour with sold-out performances over the weekend.

Moroney, 28, opened the “Cloud 9 Tour” on Friday (May 29) in Columbus, Ohio, and continued her run of shows on Saturday (May 30) in Indianapolis, Indiana. The powerhouse artist led thousands of fans in high-energy sing-along moments with her high-energy anthems and deeply vulnerable ballads. The set list included “Cloud 9,” “Medicine,” “6 Months Later,” “I’m Not Pretty,” “No Caller ID,” “Tennessee Orange,” “Wedding Dress” and more. Moroney shared a clip on Instagram recapping her tour’s opening weekend. The recap shows Moroney’s shimmering tour wardrobe pieces, thousands of fans decked in pink (Cloud 9’s signature color), Moroney’s father’s emotional reaction and other highlight moments.

The Georgia-born country star’s meteoric rise continued with her third studio album, Cloud 9, which arrived earlier this year. Moroney’s latest project included the title track, “Stupid,” “Beautiful Things,” “Liars & Tigers & Bears,” “Wish I Didn’t,” collaborations with Ed Sheeran and Kacey Musgraves, two bonus tracks (“Sorry…I Meant Tonight” and “Traitor (Roles Reversed)”), and more.

“I am so excited for my fans and I to dive into this new world of Cloud 9 together,” Moroney said in a statement when she announced her third studio record late last year. “Similar to the first two albums [2023’s Lucky and 2024’s Am I Okay?], it’s all written about honest, personal experiences, but these songs were written by the strongest, most confident version of myself I’ve ever been.
